Arizona Way Out West & Wacky By Conrad J. Storad and Lynda Exley will be featured at A+ Book Fairs Warehouse,45 N. Sunway Gilbert, AZ 85233, on Saturday December 3rd, 2011 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Johnny “JR” Ringo the Arizona Ringtail, main AZ WOWW character, will visit along with the authors. Other guests will include the Arizona Rattlers and author Michael Moorehead of The Student from Zombie Island.
Arizona Way Out West and Wacky is a humorous children’s history and activity book. Affectionately known as AZ WOWW by its multi award-winning co-authors, Conrad J. Storad and Lynda Exley, it has been designated an official Arizona Centennial Legacy Project by the Arizona Historical Advisory Commission (AHAC) as authorized by the Arizona Legislature.  Â
In addition to true, but gross, humorous, interesting and wacky stories and facts, Arizona Way Out West & Wacky makes reading about Arizona’s history fun through word searches, crossword puzzles, coloring pages, recipes, crafts and many other amusing activities. Finally, a history book kids will want to read!  Â
All creative members of the AZ WOWW team have garnered numerous awards in their fields: authors Conrad Storad and Lynda Exley (co-founder of Kids Can Publish University) for writing and editing, illustrator Michael Hagelberg for design and illustrations, Linda Radke for publishing and marketing, and curriculum writer Jean Kilker, a former Follett Librarian of the Year.
The ideal Arizona travel companion for kids, AZ WOWW, which was designated an official Arizona Centennial Legacy Project by the Arizona Historical Advisory Commission, also makes a terrific gift from Arizona grandparents to give to their out-of-state grandchildren.
