About the Author

Margaret Larsen has been a registered nurse since 1977 and has a degree in Health Care Management. She unofficially started her health care career on a farm in northern Arizona nursing the family’s pets and farm animals. Her nursing experience has included rural community hospitals, metropolitan hospitals, home health, mental health, population management and telephone triage. Throughout her career, Margaret has focused on patient advocacy.

Margaret started writing when she was in elementary school. She has published her nursing memoirs and articles in nursing magazines. Save the Child is her first novel. A little dog named Pete is Margaret’s constant companion. Writing is her full time occupation at this time.
